We had a vision to bring affordable rates, reliable electricity, and outstanding customer care to our communities -- so, in 2004, we became Amigo Energy – the newest retail energy provider.

The thing was, Texans didn’t need just another electricity company. They needed one that could grow and evolve with them.

As they began building and expanding their families, we created fixed-rate plans to keep them on budget. When they started having friends over on the weekends, we built-in free hours of electricity.

And when they needed help? Day or night, our team was ready to lend a hand.

No matter how much their lifestyles changed over the years, we’ve been right here changing with them.

We adapted to their needs and even upgraded our look!

Today, we are proudly considered one of the leading electric retailers in Texas and serve hundreds of thousands of homes.
